Summer has arrived with all its bright colours, bold patterns and beautiful sunshine. It’s a season when we sweep to the shops and grab ourselves the Summer trends, I know I have been. So after a month of research and some ‘just for my blog’ shopping I’ve come back to you with some of the trends I’ve enjoyed most and that I think will join us next year.

2. Herringbone Weave Linen Dress Brora
If you plan to spend your Summer on sunnier shores, walk over cobblestones and explore cities far away, a linen dress is the thing to pack.
This herringbone weave dress can turn from day to night in a moment, add espadrilles for a day sightseeing or touches of gold jewellery for an evening at a restaurant.

4. Puff-sleeved black wrap dress NA-KD
Puff sleeves are back in the fashion season. These romantic sleeves can turn an outfit from plain to powerful in a moment, and inject a little fun into your wardrobe.
This little number from NA-KD flatteringly wraps around the waist with a bow, dress it up with some gold jewellery and a mini bag or down with black sandals.

6. Baroque Pearl Drop Gold Earrings
You may have seen Baroque pearls before in paintings, adorning the ear of a royal woman or man. The beauty of these pearls is that no pearl is the same, each unique and moulded in its own way.
They have cropped up all year from Vogue to members of the Royal Family. They can be worn with any look, adding class to a pair of jeans or extra gleam to a Summer dress.
1. Linen blazer frosted white multi
One of my favourite trends this season is the refashioning of winter’s oversized blazers, now they appear in lighter colours and are a little more nipped and tucked in shape.
This one, in particular, is in pale cream, a colour that can be matched with anything from rose-coloured trousers, a polka-dot dress or fun red shoes.

3. Personalised Monogram Handled Basket Bag, Sun and Day
The basket bag has been in fashion since the 1950s and continues to appear Summer after Summer. The right basket bag will carry you through many seasons, from shopping to travelling.
The best of them have adjustable straps, if it’s too heavy for the hands, swap the strap and loop it over a shoulder.

5. 1850 Rio Art sandals
Comfortable footwear is a must this Summer, so whether you are exploring cities on sunnier shores or running to catch some friends for brunch find a brand with soft soles.
Art is a Spanish shoe company that creates comfortable, yet timeless shoes. Just be sure to check those international shipping costs before you buy.
